Welcome

Why no, I have not forgotten about this website (even if I haven't posted to it in… 4 years? Oh dear). In any event, new recipes (mostly of the tiki drink variety) are new! Check them out!

New updates! Mostly Greek pastry recipes (thanks, Mom)! Future plans include ice cream recipes, since I was recently rewarded with an ice cream maker as an early birthday present.

Well, fall is in the air… or at least what passes for fall in Tallahassee. As a result, I've been experimenting with autumnal recipes, incorporating whatever squashes I can find at the farmer's market. I've also been exploring assorted bread recipes. Be sure to check out the new additions to the website!

Just a reminder that even though I haven't been posting to the main page, I've continued to add new recipes. Sadly, my latest experiments have been in beer (homebrewing is loads of fun!), which don't make particularly good recipe posts, but I've also been exploring the potential of fried food, summer squash, and traditional Chinese cooking. Stay tuned for further additions to the recipe list!

Good news for cooking fans: summer is here, and with it I finally have a digital camera in my possession! Now not only do I have a chance to do some real experimenting and expanding in the recipe department, I can document all the disasters that result. For the meantime I think I'll just stick to putting pictures at the bottom of each page in chronological order based on the recipe above, but hopefully my creative-artistic side will kick in and I'll think up a new arrangement.

Note that if you go to the side bar and click on "recent changes" you'll be able to see which recipes have gotten the snazzy photo treatment.

My New Year's resolution is to spiffify this site… at least as much as wikidot allows. In particular I'm planning on uploading some pictures of this food. Of course, not only will this have to wait until I get a digital camera, I'll have to go back through and remake all of these recipes. Cooking party, anyone?

Welcome to the greatest cooking site you can find online managed by a vegetarian musicology graduate student living in Tallahassee! Within the expanding annals of this site you, the loyal reader, will be able to discover a treasure trove of relatively simple, yet utterly delicious, recipes to make! Of course, my first principle of cooking is that recipes are meant to be ignored, so please treat mine more as general suggestions rather than sacrosanct guides.
